Peaches Geldof marries her rocker boyfriend in Las Vegas

Peaches Geldof has married her boyfriend-of-one-month in Las Vegas.

The troubled socialite tied the knot with rocker Max Drummey in a simple, low-key ceremony in Sin City last Wednesday or Thursday.

The 19-year-old and the 23-year-old American drummer wed in one of Las Vegas' world famous wedding chapels.

There were no family or friends present during the ceremony, just a local witness.

It is believed Bob Geldof was informed of his daughter's spur-of-the-moment nuptials shortly before the ceremony took place.

The marriage has 'the full support of their family and friends', according to a press release.

Peaches first met Max, a Harvard anthropology graduate, two years ago. The couple began dating after his band Chester French played the ITV I-Tunes festival in London, which the teenager co-presented, last month.

Peaches was recently rumoured to be dating The Horrors singer Faris Rotter.

Last month, she was reported to have been treated by paramedics after collapsing following a suspected drugs overdose at her home.

She is believed to have been revived by a friend who allegedly gave her the kiss of life as they waited for the emergency services.

Her mother, TV presenter Paula Yates, died of an overdose in 2000.

The paramedics arrived at Ms Geldof's home in Islington, North London, on Sunday afternoon.

A spokesman for London ambulance service said: 'We were called to an address in N1 to reports of a female patient taken ill.

'We sent an ambulance bicycle responder and a fast response car, but following assessment the patient did not require hospital treatment.'

According to reports in the Sun newspaper, Miss Geldof could not breathe for several minutes and a friend had to give her mouth-to-mouth resuscitation.
