Dressed in shorts and a black T-shirt and baseball cap, the 62-year-old looked as musclebound as usual on a popular beach on the Balearic island of Formentera yesterday.

A legendary fitness fanatic for over 30 years, Stallone rigorous exercise regime is apparently starting to take its toll on his body.

The hulking actor is enjoying a break in the Mediterranean with family and friends including retail entrepreneur Philip Green.

In the past two years, Stallone has pushed his body to the limit to look the part when reprising his most famous roles in Rocky Balboa and Rambo, both of which he also scripted and directed.
