Teri Hatcher attempt to seduce ex-husband
She's been criticised in the past for being stick-thin but now now Teri Hatcher has a different kind of weight problem to deal with.
These pictures from an episode of the latest series of Desperate Housewives show that the actress has gone from one weight extreme to another by piling on the pounds.
But thankfully the slender star was just wearing a fat suit to film a 'what if' flash forward scene set 20 years in the future on Wisteria Lane.
It featured in Sunday nigh's episode in the States and includes scenes when each housewives imagines what life would be like if they had made different choices.
In her flash forward scene, Teri, who plays ditsy Susan Mayer, considers what would have happened if she'd stayed with her first husband Karl.
She sees herself as unhappy and overweight after venting her rage at his infidelity through comfort eating, before she tries to seduce second husband Mike Delfino, played by James Denton.
In the same episode, Eva Longoria's character Gabrielle Solis takes a glimpse into her future and sees herself as a wrinkly old lady with long grey hair.
In her flash forward, Gabrielle, or Gaby as she's known to her friends, is determined to be an interfering mum and make her daughter a famous actress.
As she shuffles around in a dressing gown, she pleads with a casting agent on the phone to give her youngest daughter Celia a job.
In another scene, stills of which were not been released to UK fans, character Bree Van De Kamp, played by Marcia Cross, considers what would happen if she divorces ex-dentist husband Orson Hodge, played by Kyle MacLachlan.
The popular drama started its sixth series in the US in September but is not expected to air in the UK until this Spring.
British viewers were left with a cliffhanger of an ending to series 5, when fans saw Mike Delfino marry, but the bride's face wasn't shown, leaving everyone guessing whether he got hitched to Susan or rival Katherine Mayfair.
It was also reported today that Dexter star Julie Benz has joined the cast for the current series and plays a stripper who befriends Susan.

Eva Longoria puts on her favourite sheepskin boots
Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria chose an unusual fashion ensemble for her departure from LAX airport.
From the top, the actress was perfectly-groomed, with wavy-styled hair, and eye-catching white coat and mini-dress.
But at the end of those bare tanned-legs, there was a pair of Ugg boots to finish off the dainty outfit.
Longoria is a long-time devotee of the clomping sheepskins, having been spotted in them (she also has a black pair) on numerous occasions last year.
Other celebrity fans of the Ugg boots include Kate Moss, Jennifer Aniston, Sienna Miller and Kate Winslet.
Only recently, however, Longoria was following a different Hollywood trend, by donning a pair of peg-leg pants.
This time she joined the ranks of stars including Keira Knightley, Jessica Alba and Diane Kruger to embrace the look.
She teamed the trousers with peep-toe heels, a sky-blue top and trilby hat.
Ugg boots originate from Australia. They were traditionally worn by surfers to keep their feet warm while spending hours waiting for waves.

Eva Longoria Parker dazzles in long zebra print gown and short hair
It used to be that guests steered clear of wearing black or white to weddings, but Eva Longoria Parker wasn't going to be put off by an old fashioned convention.
The Desperate Housewives star combined both colours to dazzling effect in a zebra print gown in Puerto Rico at the weekend.
She was attending the nuptials of Without A Trace actress Roselyn Sanchez and Brothers And Sisters actor Eric Winter.
Eva's choice of floor-length gown wasn't without upset however. Another guest managed to step on it as they arrived, pinning her in position.
But the 33-year-old took the mishap in good humour, laughing along with her fellow guests.
Eva teemed the over-the-top gown with a short updo and simple accessories.
Just two months ago the actress spoke out to deny pregnancy rumours, after she was pictured looking bigger than usual.
The petite star, married to basketball player Tony Parker, hit back at the claims, insisting she was merely 'a little rounder' after giving up exercise over the summer.
'I've stopped working out and gained about seven pounds over the summer, which is a lot for a small person,' she said.

According to a FOX Pop Tarts report, “Eva is rumored to be planning a high-end fashion line of her own and is still seeking business advice from Victoria Beckham despite all of her drama with dVb.”

Eva Longoria was barely recognisable as a glamorous star as she took a stroll in Los Angeles yesterday morning.
The Desperate Housewives star dressed down in jeans, a T-shirt and had her hair pulled back under a baseball cap as she visited the local shops.
The low-key look was a million miles away from her usual high-maintenance style.
But the star was back to her best on the red carpet just a few hours later in a sexy sequinned dress and Fifties-style bouffant hair as she hosted the Padres Contra El Cancer 8th Annual 'El Sueno De Esperanza Benefit Gala in Hollywood.
The tight-fitting dress showed off the 32-year-old's figure and looked to dispel rumours that she is expecting.
Longoria has been plagued by pregnancy claims in recent months but has been quick to deny them.
'I am still drinking,’ she is quoted as saying by Metro.
Meanwhile her husband – basketball player Tony Parker – has said that they wouldn't hide a pregnancy from the public.
'We don't want to hide it. I don't know why people keep asking us,' he said recently.
The star says she's gaining weight for the upcoming season of the show, which picks up in the year 2013.
Her character, Gabrielle, is 'having a very tough time being the mother of two overweight, hyperactive children,' creator Marc Cherry explained recently.
'But Eva is having a marvellous time playing her!'
She has made no secret of her hopes to start a family, saying last month: 'I can't wait!'
