Since her days as a co-star on The Simple Life with Nicole Ritche it was clear having a friend by her side was a vital fashion accessory for Paris Hilton.
And last night was no exception as the heiress turned up to a party in London with a fellow blonde partygoer.
It is thought that her guest was one of the contestants from her new TV show called Paris Hilton's My New BFF (which stands for best friend forever).
The pair partied away at the Matter club in the 02 Arena in Greenwich last night at an event to mark fashion brand Diesel's 30th anniversary.
The 27-year-old is currently in Britain filming for the new reality TV show which is coming soon to ITV2.
It will see her pick a new friend that she can hang out with when she comes to London who will be able to keep up with her fast-paced party lifestyle.
Sporting vampish red lipstick, a black leather jacket and silver threaded leggings the star posed happily for photographers with her new pal, who wore eye-catching gold trousers.
And by the looks of things the pair had a better night than when Paris took another wannabe contestant from the show out.
Because following an outing to the Cuckoo club in Mayfair earlier this week Paris's brunette pal was she leaving at 3.30am in floods of tears.
But last night Paris let her hair down and had a good dance with who could be her new best friend... forever.

It doesn't look like fun being Paris Hilton's new BFF...
Paris Hilton might have a bit of trouble finding a new 'best friend forever' - or indeed any friend - after potential pals have seen these photos.
The heiress, 27, is in London as part of a new reality TV show called Paris Hilton's My New BFF.
She arrived at Cuckoo club in Mayfair last night with one of the contestants in tow, and it was all plastic smiles and air kisses for the cameras.
But it was a different story at the end of the night, when the wannabe was sent home alone in tears at 3.30am.
Paris stayed on for another hour before calling it a night herself.
The incident has been the only interesting blip on an otherwise uneventful series of outings for Miss Hilton.
Last night was her third out on the trot - but the pattern was all too familiar: arrive at the club late; burrow deep into the VIP area surrounded by bodyguards; drink water; and go home looking exactly as she did when she arrived.
The same can't be said of her poor 'chums'.

Paris Hilton goes drinking alone at Madonna's pub
Paris Hilton has only been in London a day and her quest to find a new BFF (best friend forever) doesn't appear to be going well.
The hotel heiress started off her night at Madonna and Guy Ritchie's pub in Mayfair, before moving on to Whisky Mist nightclub.
Notably absent was the socialite's boyfriend Benji Madden or one of her usual female hangers-on, leaving only Hilton's bodyguards and staff to escort her around the capital.
If Hilton was looking in The Punchbowl or Whisky Mist for a new friend, it appears her search, for now, was fruitless.
The 27-year-old went for the contemporary Bet Lynch look last night in a leopard-print wrap dress and patent peep top heels.
Hilton was also carrying what appeared to be a faux fur bag - she swore off real fur last year after watching a animal rights video narrated by Heather Mills.
After enjoying a lonely drink in Madonna and Ritchie's pub The Punchbowl, Hilton moved on to nearby Whisky Mist to finish off the night.
Hilton managed to anger club owners when she insisted on having her table in the VIP area roped off.
The club is regularly frequented by young royal Princes William and Harry - who have never requested such special attention.
The reality star's special attention didn't go down with regulars at the club.
One partygoer said: 'They don't even do this for Prince William and Harry.
She wasn't even drinking alcohol, she stuck to bottles of Fiji water all night. But she was still dancing and singing away - standing on the seats at one point.'
Hilton flew into London on Tuesday to begin filming her new TV show 'My BFF', which sees the socialite trawling Britain in search of a new pal.
Currently staying in the Sanderson Hotel, Hilton will search London for a pal for the reality show, which will be broadcast on ITV2 later this year.
Explaining her reasons for looking for a new best friend in the UK, Hilton said she loved coming to London but hated not having her 'bestie' with her when she arrived.
'Everyone knows I love LA but London, watch out - I'm coming to town and bringing my fast-paced life with me.
'I'm in the UK all the time, but of course I can't bring all my friends, so I've decided to look for a new BFF across the pond.
'I need a best friend who is hot, who can keep up with me, and most of all, who is real and won't be a backstabber.
'I'm not leaving London until I find that amazing girl or guy who can meet the challenges of being my British bestie!'

Paris Hilton left devastated after two of her dogs are 'killed by wild coyotes
Paris Hilton has reportedly been left devastated after two of her beloved miniature dogs were 'killed by wild coyotes' outside her Hollywood home.
US reports say the heiress lost the treasured pets on Wednesday night when they were 'ripped apart' by the animals.
The pair were thought to be outside her Hollywood Hills home after dark when the incident occurred.
Sources say the 27-year-old is distraught by her tragic loss and has been 'crying non stop'.
However, her reps have denied the incident ever took place.
"They were at Paris's house Wednesday in her recording studio, and all the dogs were playing and looked as healthy and happy as can be," a rep for the socialite told People magazine.
'Paris even had a doggie mansion built for them and it is very secured. '
Paris reportedly also owns a goat, cats, two ferrets, and a chinchilla.
The star, who was a presenter at the MTV Video Music Awards earlier this month and says she that she tries not to let fame rule her life.
'I don't think about it, really," she said recently. "Since I was born, it's been like this. Sometimes when I go to random places and I'll be in a baseball cap with sunglasses, people still recognise me.
'But I try to do normal things. I like doing things myself, like going to the market or shopping.
'Some celebrities become famous and they forget who they are or where they came from and hide out like some recluse. I'm not going to do that."
Paris, who is dating Good Charlotte rocker Benji Madden, whose twin brother Joel has a baby daughter with her good friend Nicole Richie, says that she is looking forward to settling down and expects her life to be much calmer in the next twenty years.
"I'll probably be a mom with a couple of kids. I'd love to have a big family.
"Running my business and not travelling so much. I'll be in a lot of real estate businesses and hotels then. I'll be running my business from home."

The 27-year-old socialite, who has made it no secret that she wants to have children ,looks to be carrying a new bundle of joy.
Could she be following in the footsteps of her best mate Nicole Richie’s footsteps?
After fuelling pregnancy speculation in a green dress earlier this week, the following day Paris attempted to cover up her rounded stomach as she partied in Las Vegas for her new reality show.
Wearing a slimming black dress and strategically placed belt, Paris shied away from pregnancy talk as she posed at a party to promote her new show My BFF at Tao nightclub.
Her spokesperson has denied the hotel heiress is expecting, telling Us magazine: 'The rumours are completely false.'
Over the past few years, the socialite has regularly spoken of her wish to be a young mum - her own mother Kathy Hilton gave birth to Paris when she was 19.
Last year, Paris said: 'I know in my heart of hearts I would be a great mother. I have a lot of beautiful animals that I look after and I feel that I would have a lot to give to my children...
'I don't want to be an old mom — hopefully it'll happen soon.'
On Thursday night, Paris stepped out to dinner in LA with her boyfriend Benji Madden wearing a emerald green dress and at a close glance the stomach was quite bulky.
The couple have been dating since February and have publicly declared their deep love for each other.
In a recent interview on America's Sirius radio, Benji said: "We have known each other for a long time, and I've always known the real Paris. I always knew that she was like...wife material or serious girlfriend material.
"You just want to get on top of a mountain and go, I'm in love! But your fans would probably make fun of you."
When asked if he would consider marrying Paris, he replied: "Nothing would make me happier. Wow, alright. Ok. I'm not gonna bet against you on that. We'll see. I'm very, very happy right now."
Paris has been engaged twice before - to American model Jason Shaw and Greek shipping heir Paris Latsis, while Benji ended his engagement to Australian singer/actress Sophie Monk just weeks before he started dating the hotel heiress.

Motherhood clearly suits socialite Nicole Richie given the size of the smile on her face.
The Simple Life star, 26, beamed with happiness as she took her four-month-old daughter Harlow for a day in an Los Angeles park with boyfriend Joel Madden.
Good Charlotte frontman Joel is back in LA with Nicole after he went on a European and North American tour just weeks after Harlow's birth on January
The new parents took their cute daughter out for a stroll in the spring sunshine in their local area of Glendale.
Wearing cut-off Paige denim shorts and hippy Kaftan-style top, Nicole look slender and healthy compared to her gaunt frame of previous years.
Style icon Nicole made sure baby Harlow was colour co-ordinated in a lilac two-piece.
Meanwhile, proud Dad Joel - whose twin brother Benji is dating Nicole's best friend Paris Hilton - couldn't take his eyes of the two women in his life.
Joel and Nicole started dating in late 2006 after the rocker ended his two-year relationship with teen singer/actress Hilary Duff and Nicole split from DJ fiance Adam 'DJ AM' Goldstein.
Just weeks into their relationship, Nicole was arrested for driving under the influence on her way home from Joel's home in LA.
Last July, she was ordered to serve four days in jail, but only ended up spending 82 minutes behind bars due to overcrowding.
Since becoming a mother, Nicole insists her partying, wild child days are behind her and her daughter has given her a new sense of purpose.
Earlier this month, Nicole gushed: "Everything I do is for her.
"I was so excited from the minute I found out I was pregnant ... and it's been nothing but an amazing ride since.
"Joel actually changes more diapers (nappies) than I do. It's his time with her. He sings to her. He laughs with her, plays with her. It's amazing.
"I feel like my group of five to 10 friends, they really love her, like she's theirs ... My friends never go outside for smoke breaks anymore, they don't curse, they are definitely more demure. It's actually been really interesting."
