But then that has never stopped Heather before. Last year she competed in US TV reality show Dancing With The Stars - where dance routines included risky flips and backbends.

'It's about focusing in the ability rather than the disability, and you can overcome anything,' Mills said of competing in the dance show with a prosthetic limb.
During yesterday's outing, Heather was seen leaving her Soho House hotel in the Meatpacking District with a female friend, carrying a couple of notebooks.
Later in the day, she was seen leaving a restaurant, with another - male - friend, who helped her to pack her car.

The former model set up the Heather Mills Trust, which gives artificial limbs to people who have lost limbs after stepping on landmines. She is happy to show her prosthetic leg to people, and once took it off during an interview on the American talk show 'Larry King Live'.
Heather was married to Sir Paul McCartney in June 2002 and gave birth to their daughter Beatrice in October 2003. After an acrimonious public divorce she was awarded £24.3 million in March 2008.
