The supermodel arrived at the Christmas lights switch-on at Stella McCartney’s Mayfair shop on Monday with The Kills guitarist Hince, with scrapes down her cheek, while Hince was sporting a black eye.
But as eyebrows were raised among the other guests, they quashed any rumours by saying it was the result of a bizarre accident involving holly and baubles.

The injuries did not stop party girl Moss, 34,enjoying the bash.
A fellow guest said: 'Jamie and Kate couldn’t stop chuckling when people gingerly asked about their injuries.
'He said he was on a ladder and she was waiting at the bottom for him to pass down the boxes of decorations.

But he lost his grip on one and heavy decorations landed on their heads.'
Last night the pair were seen out together visiting friends in Notting Hill, before going out for dinner at China Tang at the Dorchester Hotel in London's Park Lane until the early hours.
They were spotted in a taxi, with Hince covering Moss's face with his hand.

During Monday's event it looked like Jamie, 39, was explaining to Stella how he got his black eye as they sat in the back of the car.
Kate started her evening looking glamorous enough as she arrived at the West End store with her daughter Lila Grace, 6.
The pair joined celebrities including Stella's father, Sir Paul McCartney, 66, Scottish diva Lulu, and comic Peter Kay at the annual event.
Beatles legend Sir Paul, and Peter, 35 - dressed as Geraldine McQueen from his show Britain’s Got the Pop Factor switched on the shop’s Christmas lights.
After playing mother for a while, Kate then trooped off to Shoreditch House to attend Black And Gold singer Sam Sparro's charity concert, presented by Sound Tribe Live in conjunction with Pepsi Maxcast.
A source said: 'Kate was evidently enjoying herself showing her dancing moves and throwing her arms about in the air during Vula's and Sam's sets.'
The model also enjoyed a spot of bowling downstairs with friends including Sir Richard Attenborough.
Jamie, Kate and Stella continued the party emerging the worse for wear in the wee hours.
